If you’re studying in Southampton, we’ve got a student residence that you’ll love. Located slap-bang in the middle of the city, it puts you right in the middle of all the fun.
A brand-new building offering 467 beds, the property has all the modern conveniences that a student could wish for and includes a choice of room sizes and facilities.
Conveniently located in the middle of the city, Crescent Place is one of two of our residences in Southampton.
Near to both the city’s universities, Crescent Place provides residents with easy access to local amenities.
Social and fun
The residents also get additional access to the social spaces including the common study area, Tv area, a very new common room where you can hang out with your flatmates, a courtyard which you can use for throwing a BBQ party and a free on-site gym to tone up those muscles without having to travel out of the property.

Your booking can be cancelled for free if the Visa application has been denied.
A booking can be cancelled for free if you have failed to obtain the required qualifications to get into your university of choice.
A booking can be cancelled for free because of the ongoing COVID-19 situation
If you sign a Tenancy Agreement for a semester 2 or 3 beginning after the 1st January 2022, you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Residence Manager at the Property, with no penalty up until 15 November 2021 or 8 weeks before the start of your agreement whichever is the shortest. Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Tenancy and will refund your Advance Rent Payment of £250.00, together with any other payments of Rent you may have made.
Bookings made for Semester 2 or 3 starting after the 1st January 2022 If you sign a Tenancy Agreement for a semester 2 or 3 beginning after the 1st January 2022, you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Residence Manager at the Property, with no penalty up until 15 November 2021 or 8 weeks before the start of your agreement which ever is the shortest. If you have not collected your key you may also cancel at any time within the period of fourteen (14) days of the date on which you sign your Tenancy Agreement (the “Cooling-Off Period”). During the cancellation period you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Residence Manager at the Property, Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Tenancy and will refund your Advance Rent Payment of £250.00, together with any other payments of Rent you may have made.

We’re literally over the road from Southampton Solent University, and a short bus ride away from the University of Southampton.
As for shops, you’re surrounded – the huge West Quay shopping centre is really close, as is a massive Asda for all your food.
In terms of green space, you’ve got the four parks just a short walk away: Watts, East, Palmerston and Houndwell. Enjoy!

We don’t take deposits for any of our student accommodation. Instead, you’ll need to pay an advance rent fee which will go towards your second rent payment.
If you need to arrive out-of-hours please let your residence support team know with as much notice as possible to make sure we’re available to help.

In times of uncertainty and your peace of mind, we recommend you select a flexible rate with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can always cancel free of charge until the cancellation expires.

We can only accept full-time students.
To live with us whilst studying at University, you will need to be 18 or older.
We don’t allow smoking inside your residence, but you’re free to smoke outside.
