Your booking can be cancelled for free if the Visa application has been denied.
A booking can be cancelled for free if you have failed to obtain the required qualifications to get into your university of choice.
Once you have paid your holding deposit and you have been allocated a room, then should you decide to cancel prior to the start of the licence period you will be entitled to a full refund of the Holding Deposit.
If you have paid the holding deposit and signed the license agreement then you will be held to the terms of the license until a replacement licensee is found. If you rebook a room for a subsequent year and your deposit is carried forward, and then you decide to cancel this booking then the deposit will be withheld.
No Visa No Pay, No Place No Pay:
For 2021/22 academic year bookings, if you meet any of the conditions below, you will be able to cancel your booking and receive a full refund of your Booking Fee and any paid rent payments.
(a) No Visa No Pay: if you do not get your visa to come and study in the UK, you must send us the visa application rejection letter within 72 hours of receiving it. This policy is valid until 15 September 2021.
(b) No Place No Pay: if you fail to gain the required qualifications and is not accepted into the University, you need to send us the university rejection letter, or proof that the exam results don’t meet the requirements of the university. You must send us the proof documents within 72 hours of receiving them. This policy is valid until 15 September 2021. Please send your request and the supporting official documents to the respective schemes email. Should you fail to provide the necessary information within 72 hours, your Booking Fee will be retained as a cancellation fee.
Holding Deposit - Cancellation Policy (England) Once you have paid your Holding Deposit and you have been allocated a room, then should you decide to cancel then the Holding Deposit is non-refundable. If you have paid the holding deposit and the licence agreement has been accepted by both parties then you will be held to the terms of the licence until a replacement licensee is found. If you rebook a room for a subsequent year and your deposit is carried forward, and then you decide to cancel this booking then the deposit will be withheld.
