Managua Backpackers Inn Hostel

For a pretty affordable accommodation, you get unlimited pancakes and coffee for breakfast, pool, good sized bed and amazing location. The neighboorhood is safe and the hostel is close to UCA terminal.

Breakfast was pretty basic just pancakes but you get what you pay for and a good sized pool was a plus. The accommodation is affordable and the location was good close to almost everything. Kitchen equipment could be improved by adding more pots and pans.

It was convenient to the central part of the city

The airport pick up was great. Hassle free arrival before leaving Managua. The hostel had a nice vibe and a good size kitchen. Bed was quite comfy and our room had ac which made my first night in nica very pleasant. Looking forward to a last night there on my trip again, a really lovely hostel, which I'd recommend.

The hostel's well maintained and clean. It's got a good kitchen and is close to a good taco place and a great Cuban restaurant. The staff is vey helpful. The dorm rooms are more spacious than most I've been in.

Roberto, the guy at the reception, is a very nice person! The rooms are clean and have A/C. There is a pool and cheap breakfast in the morning.

Staff was friendly. I was picked up promptly from the airport alhougth I did not arrive until 100am.

Nice area at back of property with patio, hammocks and pool etc. staff speak English. rooms,sheets and bathroom all seemed pretty clean with no bugs!

Nice pool and breakfast area

I stayed a total of 8 nights at different times over a couple of weeks. The girls dorm bed I had (same bed each time) was very comfortable and the shower was hot and the pressure good. Everything worked and was clean. The pool was nice and was kept clean. The location is good because its a 2 minute walk a large shopping mall, 5 minutes walk to some nice restaurants and the UCA bus station is a short cab ride away.

Nice hostel. Excellent communal areas for socialising and meeting people. One of the staff - a young guy called Roberto was excellent, helpful, friendly and full of local information, tips and tricks - the other staff are somewhat disinterested and could take a good lesson from this guy! Breakfast not included but a free coffee in the morning was at least a nice touch. Good internet. Overall i would recommend this place to travelers looking for dorm rooms.

Dorms were fine, pretty clean and a really good fan to keep it cool. Location is decent, pretty close to the mall. Nice area outside with a pool and seats and hammocks. Really friendly people, great atmosphere

Managua is a rotten city, but if you have to spend a night there the Managua Backpackers Inn is a good choice. Clean, walking distance to MetroCentro and a good price. Nice area to lounge by the pool and a cheap breakfast available in the morning. Also offer secure lockers but you need to bring your own lock.

Decent staff... nice touch with the movie rentals. Bathroom in A/C room was perfect. Cafe on site makes decent breakfast at fair prices.
