It looked nice on the outside and the location
Location is good.
the en-suite we had for the 6 bed dorm which was large with plenty of space especially considering other hostel dorms we had been in

This is at a very central location. OK sociable environment. Most people get to know each other through Stray or Kiwi experience.

Liked that we could check out at midday for an extra $10. Enjoyed the atmosphere of mostly young people & the bar next door.
