The common area was very nice, free dinner was a bonus if you got there early, and the location was superb.

The Downtown Hostel is in a fantastic central location and as a lone female traveller I felt very safe in the accommodation and area. The bar is a great social space, has a fantastic atmosphere and lots going on so it's very easy to meet people if you're alone. The free dinner is also great for saving money and meeting people!

Well organized hostel, dinner and happy hour are nice program

It was lively, clean and friendly. Open atmosphere that makes it easy to meet new people. Also - lots of locals come in for a drink which is nice.

This property has the perfect location for anyone staying in Copenhagen. It's very close to museums, the main shopping street, Tivoli, and many other spots. The atmosphere is perfect for 20-something year old travelers with the bar downstairs and fun atmosphere. The hostel also has a great deal on breakfast during your stay - switching from Euro to Danish Krona can be difficult and the hostel offers a great all you can eat breakfast for around 8 euro.

Atmosphere

Great central location and friendly, helpful staff. There's lots on offer and a kitchen for self-catering is always a plus for budget travellers! There have been some reviews complaining of crowding but I stayed in a 4-person dorm and did not find that to be the case.

The restaurant downstairs! They apparently serve a free dinner, how cool is that! This is the cleanest hostel I have ever been to.

Amazing location, great staff, amazing common area

One of the best hostels ever, and it has a nice 24 hours bar with a lot of discounts to guests.
