The building was nice and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was light, but ok. Except the bathrooms the hostel is very clean.

The recepcionist Marco is the best - very easy-going and gives nice tips about places and food. The location is also nice - near Zocalo. The wifi worked ok and the facilities in the kitchen are really helpful. The room is really nice with a very nice bathroom (the best I've seen in hostels).

One member of staff, Marco, waited for us to arrive at 4am from Oaxaca and was so kind and helpful and it was little things like he whispered the whole time and didn't turn any unnecessary lights on which shows unusual consideration for the hostel's guests. The building is lovely, with high ceilings and lots of light.

This is a good hostel but nothing to write home about. I agree with the others that there seem to be rationing of the breakfast. It was a typical hostel breakfast- toast, coffee, juice, and cereal. I didn't have any since, after-all, I was in Mexico. I rather buy good Mexican street food for breakfast. I met some great travelers there. It could be cleaner and the staff can do more things and events to get travelers to socialize. I would still recommend the hostel.

It was a beautiful property and the staff were so helpful.

Friendly hostel in a great location of the old town. Thursday night is bonfire on the roof night, really cheap beer, nice atmosphere and a good chance to meet other travellers.

It was close to the zocalo and historical places of interest plus it had a comfortable seating area both in the inner courtyard and up on the roof.

Very nice and clean stay. I pretty much like the atmosphere there with courtyard. Good location to discover the city, because it is about 3 minutes of the zocalo - the city centre. Very helpful and friendly staff, knew a lot about the city.

Very well organized; excellent, well designed, comfortable room; Marco is a fine, helpful and English -speaking manager. The Thursday night free beer and tacos around a fire are a wonderful, socializing touch.

Family run and amazingly friendly people. Genuinely made friends for life from the family that run this perfect pkace to stay in Puebla. Beers , tacos and bonfire all for free were a great way to settle in. Will really miss this place

I am still amazed at how cheap it was to stay in a private room with a private bathroom in a beautifully renovated colonial house. The value for money is thorough one of the best in all the hostels that I have stayed. Furthermore, I could not have asked for a better location, only 2 blocks away from the zocalo. Lastly and also very important, the staff was wonderful and had excellent suggestions at hand for typical poblano food and restaurants to try. Thanks!

The location was great and the hostel itself was great, had a roof where you can hangout, clean, simple and nice. The staff - amazing. Marco was the best that could happen, always giving advices on where to go, what to see and how to get there. Amazing man! :)
